Thought we'd try our new local pub / restaurant - suffice to say it's going to dent our bank balance! We all had pizzas and they were absolutely excellent - one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The dough was outstanding (puffy! chewy! lovely!) and the toppings were far more interesting than the usual offerings (I had a pork belly and 'nduja pizza; pork belly on a pizza is genius!)

Absolutely fantastic place to eat. Great service and amazing food, would definitely recommend a visit. we had a large party of 18 and they catered for us really well all the food was out together and hot.

My husbands annual office Christmas dinner together was recently held at the Akeman Inn and it was a total success! Marisa and Gemma were our waitresses for our evening and they did a phenomenal job. They were very attentive, always checking on us to see if we needed anything. We had close to 40 people there so we kept them very busy. The food is amazing and they have a large selection that goes beyond your normal pub food to please everyone. We will definitely be back and we will recommend them to anyone looking to host a large group event!

We popped in for breakfast this morning. Good service and breakfast was really good. Well worth the money!

I have eaten at this restaurant on countless occasions now and what strikes me as the best thing about it is how consistently brilliant the food is. The choice of food they have on the menu is epic and they always cook the dishes to a great standard. I personally order the Rib eye nearly every time I go, I ask for Medium rare with Béarnaise sauce and upgrade to the sweet potato fries, epic again. The staff are always good and if we ever have an issue with a dish, which is rare, they get it sorted immediately without hesitations.

We travelled 2 hours to meet family and it was well worth the trip. The food was excellent with a superb choice for vegetarians. All was served in very pleasant surroundings by excellent staff who could not do enough for us.

Absolutely fantastic! Celebrated my 50th birthday with a large crowd of family. Food was superb, service and attentiveness was second to none. Everyone was impressed (and for some attendees this was saying something!) Would highly recommend!

Beautiful décor inside and beautiful garden/patio outside. Food is always good although menu doesn't change very often but there is plenty of choice so never get bored

My husband and I wanted to try somewhere new for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. We sat outside on the patio which was really pretty. The waiter was very knowledgeable and was able to help me customise my meal to accommodate my milk allergy. I was especially impressed that they offer 'Gary', the vegan cheese so I was even able to have cheese on my burger, which is a rare treat when eating out. When the food came, it was delicious. My husband had a pizza and claims it was one of the best he's ever had and my burger was also excellent. It's slightly pricier than other places but we felt it was worth it.
